Talking about That Year

I thought I'd kick off with my first single telling the tale of my first year from being kicked out of my family home to landing in a cheap flat alone.

it was 2023 , we were past covid ( another "That Year") and so things were supposed to be normal now ?  Whatever that meant ? 

For me it was managing debt , what flavor noodles to eat and how to open my beer bottles without an opener . And how to keep them cool without a fridge! 

I set up this new home and laid back on the sofa , thinking damn this could actually be quite exciting . But I was in shock. 

That Year is a fast , energy rich blast designed to set the scene . What was life like ? And how did i adapt ? Was it actually fun? ...
